Public Primary Schools Music Program

In September 2016 we launched the Public Primary Schools Music Program involving 10 public primary schools across Bermuda. Each school has 10 participants for drum classes and 10 for guitar classes. Instruments, books and accessories were donated by the Bermuda Music Center and the program is run by the Bermuda Music Institute [Bermuda Guitar Institute and Bermuda Drum Institute]. Management and oversight are carried out by The Talbot Brother Foundation and the Ministry of Education.

Our program has enjoyed great success during our first year and we are pleased to say that it will continue for the 2017/18 School year due to start in September. Students who are now participating will move on to Level 2 of the program making room for new participants starting Level 1.
